I bought these for my son, who is 6'3" with very long legs. Normally, when sizes are in letter form (e.g. S, M, L), I have to get him an XL just for the length. Surprisingly, I didn't need to do that with these pants since I chose the 36 inseam, which was sufficiently long. Out of habit, I got an XL, but due to the long inseam, I should have gone for a smaller size. The XL waist fit like a 38-40 inch waist, but it can be adjusted with the drawstrings. Despite the large waist, he wears them often because they are incredibly comfortable. I plan to order him another pair in a size large and a different color.
