Okay all, I have these in 3 colors. I wear snow pants literally daily in the winter, so I like to have multiple pairs. I have them in 1x and 2x. Colors I have are black, dusty purple, and purple dahlia. Be warned that the purple dahlia is NOT the color it looks like on screen. (I actually found this out by reading reviews and two people posted pictures. I would not have purchased based on the color on screen, but the deep berry that the pants actually are, are much more favored by me.) I wear a 12 or 14 in jeans, and in leggings/jeggings I wear an xl. I wear my pants often overa cargo uniform & quickly found that the 1x was a big snug over my cargos & belt of my under pants. I find the 2x to be faster to slide on over thicker (or more layered) pants & particularly the belt for my uniform which I wear at my natural waist(higher) than say where men wear their pants. Both sizes fit me easily, and I’m more likely to wear the bigger size when I really need to layer (or wear over my cargos & belt) and the smaller size when I don’t necessarily need to layer.I love the snow pants, the reflective thermal material on the inside keeps me warmer than any other snow pants I’ve ever owned. They keep me warm and dry, and are of excellent Columbia quality. If you’re wondering about them, just go ahead and buy them!Oh! And for reference, I have North Face snowpants too, but they don’t keep me nearly as warm as the Columbia brand. The Columbia brand are a much thicker snow pant than the North Face ones I have. The North Face ones, if I sit in the snow, I’ll get cold from the snow (though I stay dry) but with the Columbia ones I cannot feel the snow through the pants.Columbia - please don’t ever change these snow pants!I LOVE these pants! Right cut, right fit, right length. I'm 5'5", 190 with a little belly fat. The adjustable band made these pants super comfy. The leg pocket is super roomy and held all the items I needed to get to fast. I wore a base layer under these and my legs never got cold or wet while playing in the snow in the teens and twenties. Great buy!I wear a size 14 and got the 2x. These were pretty perfect on the legs and hips but we’re very big at the waist. Even using the straps & velcro on the inside to cinch didn’t help much but a belt made the waist fit well enough. Used them for a day of snowboarding and was very warm, comfortable, and able to crouch low. So happy there is at least one company out there that knows curvy ladies like to get into the snow, too!! If you don’t have thick legs/hips/booty then the 1x will probably be fine. I measured and went off of that, it was accurate.I read so many reviews before ordering these and assumed they ran small. I wear a 14 or 16 but I have large thighs so I ordered 1x in these pants. I am 5’6 and 263lbs. They are way too big and too long, even using the Velcro tabs inside. I was sad because these pants are amazing quality but they just won’t work for me. I am returning them and ordering an XL short. These are great!Just arrived and I haven’t worn them in the snow yet but the length is good (I’m 5’8) and I’m glad I sized up. I’m a 16 and went with the 2x. Plenty of room for light to heavy weight base layers and leg mobility for skiing. The color is wrong though. The picture is a lilac purple and the pant I received is a deep berry color (which I prefer, so, win!!)Great price for these ski pants.Nice quality ski pant. I felt the sizing in general is way off. There is a huge difference between sizes. Based on sizing I should wear the 1x. It was a little too tight in the waist/hips but the 2x was huge in comparison. Seems like a whole size is missing. Also the lower leg is particularly baggy.I ordered 1XL for the snow pants but it is more of 18-20 but it has Velcro inside on both sides so you can adjust the fit. It is straight cut so quite bulky in the leg. But it is waterproof and wind proof so I am confident to go out in cold weather with this pants. I just have to have it cut since I am small.Waist fit according to the chart but the rest is huge. The legs have more than ample room if one needs it for their thighs and behind, but I was swimming in it after I secured the waist. I have a "muffin" waistline and find it hard to find a fit. I went with another brand with an elastic waist but yet elevated features. Thanks though, I usually love Columbia items.Great fit, size chart is accurate. Although the pants feel thin, that shiny layer inside reflects your body heat back and keeps you so warm! I'm in northwestern Ontario with temperatures of -20 and lower and have not felt the cold yet, even when only wearing a thin pair of leggings under them. The thinner pant style, contoured knees, elastic inner bottom layer and adjustable waist are all really great features that make these snowpants so perfect for getting outdoors. My only downside is that they are long, so if you're under 5'6, definitely try to get the petite length.I ordered the 3XxR Black Bugaboo ski pants and they seem really nice. They're soft and look warm but they just don't fit the same as the White 3X Bugaboo ski pants I ordered (at the same time). These fit approx 1 size smaller than the 3X White pair.I am short (5'4") and these pants are quite long - would be fine once boots are on though.I typically wear a size 2X (20-22) and purposely ordered a size up, so I could wear jeans or sweats underneath. I tried these on with jeans underneath, and while I could still get them on, sitting or bending was more constrained than they should be. My test usually is - how do they feel when you are sitting? While these look great and feel nice, they just don't fit right (on my body). I have returned them, but I am still giving a 4 star on the product. To those who suffer from the same problem - you'll get it. I had to return the product because I am too curvy for pants that are so straight cut. I like to think that my waist is too small, but really it is my butt is too big. :) I bought a size larger because of the recommendations of other buyers. The pants fit over my hips and butt, but then it was way too big in the waist. It does not have an elastic waste band, so it awkwardly gapes when bending or sitting. I struggle with this when even buying regular pants. So if you usually have this problem, then these lovely snow pants will not fit well on you.I just ordered these after seeing Luxurious Roxy on Instagram with them. Based on the size chart I was thinking of the 1x since I’m in between a 14-16 at 5’8. I read the reviews and sized up to a 2x just in case and I’m very glad I did. They fit! A little snug in the thighs but I can wear a pair of base layer leggings and sit comfortably in a chair. They are loose on me at the waist but that’s generally how the story goes for my shape. Also the COLOUR is this beautiful berry colour and way better than the picture. I ordered it knowingly based on reviews that it would come in this berry colour (YEY!). If you have thicker thighs/butt and plan on doing a lot of squatting/sitting down in snow it may be a bit too snug. I am concerned if I fall while skiing I may not have much room for movement so I will see but I am very pleased that this is actually for curvy women. The only thing that would make it better is a little bit of stretch material. They are warm, and fit surprisingly well. However the pants are scented. Having a allergy to scents, I find this extremely disappointing as I am unable to be near them until they have been washed several times. There is no need for the scent, and caution those who are sensitive to be wary when ordering. P
