Brixton Men's Reserve Standard Fit Chino Pants - Comfortable Casual & Work Trousers for Office, Travel & Everyday Wear

Ordered a size 36 as I have 3 exact same pants in black and brown. The grey color was a whole size smaller and could not even close zipper/button and legs were skin tight. So either I got a mislabeled pair that were really a 34 or sizing for the grey color was a size smaller for some reason. I went back and compared all my other Brixton Reserve chinos to the new grey pair and found they indeed measure smaller. Now due to whats called “American Vanity sizing” most brand actually measure slightly bigger than the advertised size as was the case with all the previous Brixton chinos I have they measure around 37-38 with a tape measure but label says 36. This happens with almost all other brands that are designed to sit below waist with the exception of dickies which are made to sit higher up at actual waist and always fit tighter die to this. Anyway the grey Brixton size 36 measured 35-36 actual which was too small compared the the brown and black ones I have. Also lega were way tighter. Returned and ordered a size 38 and they fit perfect. Actually comparing the 38 grey to my 36 brown they are identical in measurments. So somehow grey color runs a size smaller but black and brown are spot on lol great quality control there. Posted a pic comparing the 36 grey to the 36 brown for reference. You can clearly see the difference. Hope that helps someone! Oh also the tan khaki color runs small.
