Despite being cut strangely, these pants are absurdly warm and comfortable. I call them my “teddy bear fur pants,” as it’s really like wearing a soft and fluffy stuffed animal. The fabric they’re made from is heavy and soft and warm, and perfect for cold winter days/nights hanging out at home.The fit, however, is frankly bizarre. They are very long, with an absurdly low crotch. I cannot imagine a human with the proportions that these pants are cut to. They would have to be unnaturally tall and thin, almost alien in appearance. I do not think such a human exists, and cannot imagine what they were thinking when designing these pants.That said, if you roll up/hem the legs and don’t mind that the crotch is almost to your knees, these are warm and comfy like you wouldn’t believe. Just be prepared for a truly bizarre fit.These are overall fine and get the job done, but lack several refinements. First, the drawstring is just a woven cotton rope that’ll definitely fray. These really need a cotton-elastic waistband to make them 5/5 comfy and more flattering. The pockets are also made of the same material as the rest of the pants, so they’re a bit bulky.Pants are lightweight and soft. The fabric is very fluffy like long fur and should be warm in the fall and winter. Fit is big around the hips and the legs are long. The XL pair I ordered measured 14 1/2 inches wide at the waist when laid flat and the inseam from crotch to the leg bottom was 32 inches. I normally wear 35 X 30 so the low crotch and long leg length results in about 2-3 inches of extra length. The waist elastic does stretch to fit comfortably and the hefty drawstring does tighten nicely. Rating would be a 5 if the fit was better. However, I'll keep them for winter use.I bought the darker grey. All the comments said they run small so I bought a size up (XL) and I think my regular size (L) would have been fine. For reference, I'm 6 feet tall. They feel like faux fur. Sometimes previous reviews are misleading. Just buy them, you won't regret it.Super ComfortableI recently lost a lot of weight and needed to replace a pair of “fur pants” I had bought at Walmart several years ago. I searched everywhere and couldn’t find anything quite as comfortable. I was hesitant to buy this online without physically touching it first, but based on the pictures I figured I’d give it a shot and boy am I glad I did. These pants are actually more comfortable than the ones I was replacing. If it is pretty perfect, although maybe extremely on the smaller side. For example, if you sometimes wear a small and sometimes wear a medium, go with the medium. They are made from the softest material I’ve ever felt and they are extremely warm when you’re wearing them. The string is nice and long so it doesn’t get lost in the pants, which is sometimes an issue with some brands. I also like the fact that the pockets are very deep so I never have an issue of anything accidentally falling out while they’re in there. As soon as I tried on the pair I received I immediately ordered another pair in a different color. Although I usually wear them to knock around the house in, they can definitely be worn outside as well. A great buy and highly recommend.Super warm, you don't need many blankets. Absolute nightmare to wash and dryfirst off, I normally wear a large with pajama pants but I noticed the reviews saying order a size up so I got an XL thinking I'd be good, nope. They were damn near skin tight, order TWO sizes up from your normal size.The material is NOT anything like sherpa wool and is NOT that fluffy or soft. Plain and simple, this is 1 inch long faux fur and it's not even a good faux fur, it's cheap and kind of scratchy, definitely NOT worth the price here on Amazon.Also, this might be a deal breaker for people wanting something that fits like normal pants instead of parachute pants from the 80's, the crotch, when worn at your natural waist, is damn near at your knees. If you expect to be able to walk normal while wearing these then think again, you'll look like a penguin waddling around, sure, it looks funny, but it's the opposite of efficient and practical.Returning less than an hour after receiving them.Fits true to size. Best fuzzy pants ever! Edited... until they are washed!! They pill heavily.
