Review of the XX Large size at a cost of $8.61: Overall for what I paid they are exceptional, but if I'd paid full price I'd be on the fence.Fit: I'm 6'5" 260pds. I wear a 42 waist and a 35 inseam for perfect length. These are accurate in that they are a 35 inseam as stated (but there's a catch), and technically have velcro for adjusting it to shorter. These however are too long for me due to the length of the top of the pant itself. The waist fits perfectly for a 42 inch waist, just a touch snug. I could wear without a belt. The depth of the crotch is what I think it should be, and won't have an issue fitting a cup. The depth of the crotch being what it is though makes the inseam fit more like 37" - 38". So you either pull the belt section up onto your belly and wear like a grandpa, or they are too long out the gate for someone my height. Since most aren't my height, I think the "patent pending inseam system" will be an issue without some extra work. First, it's ONE piece of velcro on the inside of the bottom of the pants. Then there is a long strip of velcro running up the side. So in theory, you attach the small piece of velcro to the long velcro to shorten the length by creating a tucked cuff (remember kids, this is patent pending so be careful not to attach velcro to pants? ya I laughed too). If they'd used velcro on both sides of the pant leg I think this would actually work, but they only used one (someone probably patented using two...), so in the end the cuff is only held on one side, the the other droops or falls down completely. So, way I see it you have a few options if you don't have a 37 or 38 inch inseam... First option is old school duct tape (they make it in white). Cuff them up and use the velcro cause it's there, then duct tape it up. Second option would be to add another strip of velcro and risk possible patent infringement and do the same as the duct tape more or less (Without sewing it I doubt it would hold though, so probably best to go duct tape). Best option is to have someone who knows how cut them to fit then sew the cuff to keep it from fraying (will be asking GF for help on this one since I'm the guy who uses the duct tape). So that all sounded fairly negative, but keep in mind these are nearly guaranteed to be long enough. Way easier to shorten pants than lengthen (that involves more duct tape... use PVP pipe to stretch and take said pipe to inside, or outside if you want to make a fashion statement to lengthen - I would be concerned with sliding in this setup though, or bending your knees... etc.) I did go to Easton's website to look for instructions for the velcro (ya, I know), and they only have an advert video showing the inseams magically shrinking with no actual description of how.Fabric: I'd say about a 5 out of 10, where 1 is like the thickness of spandex and 10 being a wool blend baseball pant. I don't see these lasting more than a season at best if you slide a lot. Then again, it's near impossible to keep a white pant for a full season anyways. 100% polyester, pretty much as expected. For the price (even the normal price) I'm quite happy with the fabric quality.Zipper: Works well, but the stitching looks a bit weak. If they fit tight or you zip aggressively I'd expect it to need a bit of repair in the future, overall though seems fine.Pockets: Two back pockets that are just about big enough to fit a single glove in each, two would be quite tight. The pocket itself is a thin mesh material.I'm likely going to buy a set with the red piping since the burgundy looks more like brown (they were the cheapest that I ordered as tester practice pants). Not sure I'd pay more than $20 for them though. Once you exceed that I think there's better options. In closing, if you have a kid that tears the knee and rear out of pants fast sliding these could be a good inexpensive option for you. I am writing this review for every person on here who is bouncing between two or three types of ball pants and cant decide which one to go for.I ran into that same problem because it seemed the reviews were so indecisive, yes they have a good average rating but the problems everyone seemed to have were with the fit. Ill tell you this, if you have worn baseball pants in the past you wont have a problem with the fit.The problem with these types of pants are that they have only a few select sizes available and in order to accommodate a vast diversity in the size of men, they make the waste stretchy and the pants a little longer, this way someone who is 6'1" 180lbs can fit into the same pair of pants as the person that is the same weight but only 5'10". overall just go with what the sizing chart says and you will be fine, the only people who may not like these pants are people who have quite large waste lines and short legs.durability is good as you can expect from Easton, and the breathability is also very good.I cant speak for the other pants on the market but if you cant decide on which pair to get, this pair is a safe bet for the money.I played fall ball which ended in October I was comfortable even with the cool Virginia weather. As for adjusting the length of the pants it only has the Velcro on one side. Although I had no trouble with it keeping its grip it would have been better if it had two and I would have given it 5 stars. I did take them and had them hemmed to my 30" length for a very small fee and they are perfect now. I will be using them next spring as well.I did some sliding in them and also some diving for the ball and runners at third base and there are no problems with durability. The dirt came out without any problems with cool water and your average everyday detergent. I didn't order a belt as I didn't want one but the belt loops are good had I chosen to wear one.The waist fit in my opinion is accurate. I hadn't played in many years and with a development of rheumatoid arthritis I had put on some weight and my belly had gotten a little bigger so at first for me they were a little tight...as I knew they would be when I ordered them. Having lost some weight they fit somewhat better and hope to be back to my size in the spring with a cardio regimen over the winter.Hope this is a help.I bought these pants to wear when I play slow pitch softball. I still slide on close plays when I am a base runner. The Easton pants were a replacement for a pair of Reebok pants that I've played in for 15 years. Maybe my expectations are too high, but I've only worn the Easton pants for 5 games. They are starting to wear in the right seat area and on the outside right calf. They are not holding up like I think they should. On a positive note, they fit great and look good. I am short (5'8") so I had the pants length shortened, so I cannot comment on the Velcro adjustable length tabs. I was really hoping these would last for two or three years, but it looks like they aren't going to.Update 2017. I still wear these pants and have continued to slide with them. I haven't worn a hole in them yet. My original expectations have been surpassed. They still fit well with no issues with the zipper and front snap buttons.Wow. Just wow. I'm 6'6", 220lb and can't buy clothes that fit usually. My 36 x 36 jeans seem a wee bit short lately, so I figured I'd be wearing high socks to play baseball for the first time in 35 years. Easton Quantum Plus Large feel like high quality pants and fit me like a glove. I'm stunned. I'll be wearing open cuff pants - do you have any idea how big of a deal this is???? If there were more stars to give, I'd give them. And thanks to the review from a tall guy who convinced me to try these. Of course I won't need to test the length adjusters. Looking sharp, feeling sharp, playing ...er alright.Muy buena calidad de producto. Había comprado otros pantalones de beisbol en otros lugares, pero sin duda éste es el mejor de todos
