I love the material. It's thicker, but not too thick, and it's enough to keep you warm outside on a chilly day. I can wear them inside around the house and they don't get hot. The cell phone pocket inside the right pocket is nice. If I decide to have a sweatpants and hoodie day, I still have to carry my phone, keys and wallet. That's hard to do with my other sweatpants because one pocket would be packed and it looked really awkward. The phone pocket on these is a little towards the top of the pocket, so I can put my phone in there and have my keys or wallet resting at the bottom of the pocket.The only issue I have with these pants is the length, which is why it gets 4 stars instead of 5. I wear 31W x 30L, and my sweatpants have always been medium. These sweatpants are a 32-34 in length. It's not a problem when I am wearing shoes with them, it just looks a little baggy around my ankle area. But when I'm wearing them around the house without shoes the cuff comes down underneath my heel (almost to the middle of my foot). My only worry is that the cuff area will start to wear out if I wear them around the house too much.**Side note for pet owners**I have 2 dogs with longer dog hair, a Sheltie and a German Shepherd. Obviously these pants aren't immune to the copious amounts of dog hair I have in my apartment. But it is super easy to get fur off of these! You can pretty much wipe it off completely with your hand. Saves me some sheets on the lint roller!
