4.5 stars. These Chef pants are great. Got a medium size, they are breathable and comfortable with plenty of room to work in. No issues with any flexibility for day to day chefin', barely notice them. Deep front pockets and good size back pockets. Waistline fits perfectly and comes with strings to adjust. Two negligible issues:A few of the belt loops and a bit around the zipper had extra string; snipped them, problem gone.I'm 5' 7" and have to cuff the ends twice or they'll drag on the floor. My son is a busy sous chef working 10-12 hour days. He loves the fit and comfort of his Chef Works pants. He has ordered them from both Amazon and directly from Chef Works which is a local company for us. They wash well and look fresh out of the dryer each and every time.I've only had this item for 2 weeks and had to sew the button on once, after that the plastic of the button broke and now I need to either get a replacement or find a new button. I like the style. These pants are awesome! I wore the same pair almost every single day to work for 7 months straight, an there is little to no wear. The waist band is flexible and comfortable, it stays where you need it during the course of a day. I needed something that would give me room to bend and stretch as I worked in the kitchen, I'm also a very picky shopper when it comes to clothes. I prefer classic clean styles that don't quite look like I am working in a kitchen. The pinstripes are subtle and perfect for the look that I wanted. I noticed superior air circulation in the legs, which is surprising since the fabric has a heavy, solid feel. The only wear that I could see at all is where my keys sit in the pocket. I expected these to fall apart in the stitching like many of my other work pants, but all of the hems are still very solid. This is especially surprising since I wear and wash these pants almost every day. I normally wear between a 38-42 waist line, 32 inseam and the large size fits me perfectly.PROS: CONS:Solid Stitching NONEHeavy Duty FabricCirculates Air WellDries QuicklyPerfect fitVery DurableThese pants are a must, very light weight and breathable. They have washed extremely well thus far following the instructions. I would definitely recommend washing them on something like a delicate cycle as some of the strands have come loose near the inside by the fly out of sight, nothing that can't be stoped and fixed or prevented. Having said that follow the instructions for drying on tumble dry low. I normally wear a 30/30 in pants and the small fit almost perfect. I don't have to wear a belt or tie the draw strings, but the length is more like a 32, so I will need to have them hemmed. Until then I have just rolled them under some and they have stayed put. So they fit true to size according to the chart. Having read some reviews I decided to tie knots at the end of the draw strings so as not to lose them in the waist band. Hopefully they will hold up to many washes and last a good while as I thoroughly enjoy wearing these over my old dickies.at the waist its great no need to undo the button just use the built in belt strap and youre great. at the ankles the length was a bit long but easy to shorten it to a length where it wont drag the ground. overall great product.i would say, wow it is nice to find a pant that well isn't so baggy it looks like im wearing zumas... or parachute pants. am i dating myself. anyway, they have a nice draw string... a button and a zipper??? what and I CAN WEAR A BELT! so baasically these are chef dress pants. . I feel confident walking an gretting my tables. they have a striped look and they feel durable on the line. I didn't notice my hot grill or that i got some hot prime rib juice on them (no not au jus, the braising liquid straight out of the oven) on them until i looked down. I will buy more if they hold up! and size is pretty accurate, but chef work's i think is one of the most dependable brands.Bought these for my husband who is a chef. He was so impressed with the comfort and light weight material of these pants. He loved them! Only reason I can't give them five stars is that they were extremely long and quite a bit baggier than the picture made them appear. My husband is 5'7" 150lbs so I got a medium. These pants were nearly 4 inches too long and baggy around the thighs and calves almost to the point of looking unprofessional. For this reason we had to return them. But I will say again how pleased he was with the comfort of the waistband and breathability of the fabric, really a shame they didn't work out.Great quality and look goodVery good quality, I will have to buy another to have a change. I recommend!Although I am a chef they are so good idea yous them for casual, marvellousi bought 2 of this 3 years ago. iwas happy with them now this one is feels different. the material i think is changed. will see later on.Love them they are really good
